Control Room​

What's New?​

Improvements​

  • We have enhanced the load balancing of job assignments with the execution target set to dynamic, ensuring full utilization of all available buddies.
  • We have introduced a new option to view form data entered in the process instance under My Task, Human Tasks, and Process Monitor entries.

Bug Fixes​

  • The end time for jobs aborted or terminated is not captured on the jobs page.
  • Form data inside the Process Instance does not show the data corresponding to the HTML component inside that form.
  • General stabilization of SMTP configuration settings and email notifications from the Control Room.
  • Publishing a process from the Process Designer following the activation of an older version of this process in the Control Room overwrites the current version, leading to data loss.
  • Control Room does not send alert notifications through email even with proper SMTP settings configured.
  • The audit page does not return results when performing case-insensitive text searches.
  • The Control Room allows users to upload two processes using the same name.
  • Cloned BPA processes containing the start task activity are not visible or listed on the application page.
  • The status of a Process Instance changes from Completed to Canceled when a user deletes the corresponding BPA process.

Form Designer​

Bug Fixes​

  • Default values are not set to the fields inside the form on load.
  • General stabilization of data source filters in form binding.
  • A form field bound to another form's field within the same process does not get the data populated on form load through Start Task activity.
  • Data binding is lost when users update the internal names of form fields.
  • Failure to populate the process data bound to Select Boxes, Select, and Radio button form fields.
  • The form bound to system data is incorrectly initialized during form load.
  • General stabilization of form binding to datasource connections.
  • Publishing the BPA processes throws an internal server error for the process containing the form with the text area field configured with the custom row size.

Process Designer​

Improvements​

  • Any modifications, additions, or deletions of arguments to the workflow in Process Designer are now reflected in the Invoke Workflow activity.

Bug Fixes​

  • Clicking the close button for a workflow in the Process Designer throws an object reference not set to an instance exception.
  • Pressing Ctrl-S after opening the Process Designer results in an error.
  • The Process Designer gets stuck at the validating credentials stage.
  • The Process Designer freezes on publishing a process utilizing desktop automation activities.
  • The Process Designer fails to save changes when closed without moving the focus from the modified activity, potentially causing data loss.

Assistant Buddy​

Improvements​

  • Improvised exception handling inside Assistant Buddy to make it more stable and robust.
  • Closing Assistant Buddy now aborts any running jobs.

Bug Fixes​

  • General stabilization fixes.
  • Assistant Buddy stops triggering the jobs and would need a restart for triggers to work properly.

Smart Buddy​

Improvements​

  • We now display a confirmation dialog if the user attempts to disconnect the smart service agent while a job is still executing.

RPA Activities​

  • Introducing Calculate Token Count activity under OpenAI category. This activity allows users to estimate the token count for their messages in advance.

Improvements​

  • FTP Context activity has been enhanced to work with the latest version of SSH.NET when connecting to the SFTP server.
  • Extended Extract Tables from PDF activity under the PDF category to provide a preview of extracted table data. Now, users can preview all the tables in the PDF file using the preview window.
