Send Email

Description​

With this activity, you can send email messages through the configured email server using the SMTP protocol.

Design Time Configuration​

Display Text​

Specify the activity name that shows in your process.

Use Global SMTP configuration​

If you check it, the BPA Process will utilize the global SMTP configuration configured when sending the Email. However, if your process requires a different SMTP configuration than the globally configured one, you can uncheck the checkbox and provide the specific SMTP configuration in this activity.

SMTP Server Configuration​

  • Server – Specify the SMTP email server host.
  • Email – Specify the email account to send the message.
  • Display Name – Specify the display name of the sender.
  • Password – Enter the email account's password to send the message.
  • Port – Specify the SMTP port to send the email message.
  • Use SSL – SSL encryption will be activated for the connection if you select this option.
  • Allow Untrusted Certificate – If checked, it allows an untrusted certificate during the connection.
  • Test Mail – If you want to test your configuration, click this. It will send a test mail through the configured SMTP server.

Email Template​

To choose an email template for your message, click the Email Template drop-down and select the one you want. If you haven't created a template yet, click the + button to create a new one. Once you've chosen a template, you can see a preview below.
