Overview

The IB-X platform provides the following designer components for building intelligent agent automation solutions.

Agent Designer

The IB-X Agent Designer is a web-based workflow designer used for building server-side agent workflows, enterprise orchestration, AI-driven automation, and business process execution scenarios.

It provides a visual development environment for creating end-to-end agent workflows involving:

  • Server-side automation
  • Human-in-the-loop processes
  • AI-driven workflows
  • Enterprise integrations
  • Task orchestration
  • Workflow coordination across agents and systems

The Agent Designer includes a rich set of Activities for building automation logic, business rules, workflow orchestration, approvals, integrations, and agent interactions.

The designer enables users to visually compose scalable enterprise automation solutions using drag-and-drop workflow modeling.

Local Agent Designer

The IB-X Local Agent Designer is used to build automation workflows that execute within local user environments.

It provides a visual development environment for designing Local Agent automations that interact with desktop applications, web browsers, files, PDFs, spreadsheets, emails, databases, and other user-facing systems.

The designer includes a rich set of Activities that enable automation of:

  • Desktop applications
  • Web applications
  • Browser interactions
  • File and document operations
  • Spreadsheet processing
  • Email operations
  • Image and PDF processing
  • Local system interactions

The Local Agent Designer provides an intuitive drag-and-drop workflow authoring experience, allowing users to visually compose automation logic by connecting Activities into sequences and execution flows.

Local Agent workflows are typically executed through Smart Buddy or Assistant Buddy within user-interactive environments.

Form Designer

The IB-X Form Designer enables users to design, build, and manage forms used within agent workflows and human-interactive automation scenarios.

It provides a drag-and-drop form designing experience integrated within the IB-X Agent Designer.

Forms can be used for:

  • Human task interactions
  • Approval workflows
  • Data collection
  • User input scenarios
  • Workflow-driven user experiences
  • Human-in-the-loop automation
