Delete File

Description​

This activity deletes an existing specified file inside a Microsoft 365 SharePoint/OneDrive Library.

note

This activity works only inside Microsoft 365 Context activity.

Properties​

Location​

  • Site Url – Specify the absolute site URL containing the library.
  • Library Name – Specify the library's name which contains the file. If left empty default library (Shared Documents) in the site is chosen.
  • File Path – Specify the relative path to the file to delete.

Misc​

  • DisplayName – Add a display name to your activity.
  • Private – By default, activity will log the values of your properties inside your workflow. If private is selected, then it stops logging.

Optional​

  • Continue On Error – It Specifies whether the automation should continue even though this activity fails. This field only supports Boolean values (True, False). The default value is False.
    note

    If this Activity is present inside Try Catch and the value of this property is True, it will ignore errors during the automation execution.

Output​

  • Result – Returns the Boolean (true or false) output indicates deletion of the specified file is successful or not.
