Yahoo allows users to generate App Password to be used to access mailboxes from third-party applications.

Use the app passcode in the following Email activities to input the secure password for the password field:

• Get IMAP Mail Messages
• Get POP3 Mail Messages
• Send SMTP Mail Message
• Move IMAP Mail

Generating App Password

To generate an app password for your yahoo account, follow the steps given below:

• Open and login to Yahoo Account.

• Click on your profile on the top right side and select Account Info.

  

• In the account info tab, select Account Security.

  

• Scroll down to App Password and click Generate app password.

  

• In the app password window, enter the app name and click generate the password.

  

• A 16-digit password will be generated and shown on the window.

• Copy the 16-digit passcode and use this in Activity to provide a secure password.
