Delete Folder

Description

Permanently deletes a remote folder and its contents.

Prerequisites

Create and test a FTP connection with access to the remote paths used by the activity. Paths identify locations on that server, not on the workflow host.

Shared settings

Select Connection Name. Use Process Data for dynamic path values. Configure execution control and On Error as required.

Inputs

Property	Description
Remote Path	Required full path of the folder to delete.
Ignore If Not Exists	Return successfully for a missing folder. Default: False.

Outputs

Deleted is True when the folder was deleted, or False when it was absent and Ignore If Not Exists was enabled. Folder Path returns the requested path. Other failures use On Error.

Behavior

Deletion includes nested contents and does not use a recycle bin.

Example

Set Remote Path to the exact archive folder to remove. Enable Ignore If Not Exists only when an absent folder is an acceptable cleanup result.
