This page displays hardware and software requirements for deploying IntelliBuddies Client Components for Enterprise and Professional Editions.
Hardware Requirements
Process Designer

- Network: Stable internet connection for licensing and accessing online resources. Access to required endpoints and services, especially within a corporate firewall.
- Virtual Machines: Process Designer can be run on virtual machines (VMs) that meet the same hardware requirements as physical machines.

- Virtual Machines: Smart Buddies can be run on virtual machines (VMs) that meet the same hardware requirements as physical machines. Ensure the VM host has adequate resources to handle multiple VMs if required.
- Scaling: Plan for scalability if the number of Smart Buddies is expected to grow. Ensure that the infrastructure can support the additional load.
- Security: Implement security measures to protect the Buddy environment, including secure network configurations, regular updates, and access controls.
- High Availability: Consider high availability setups to minimize downtime for critical processes.

IntelliBuddies Client Components are currently supported on the following Operating Systems:
- Windows 7

- Windows Server 2016 (Standard or Enterprise)

- Windows Server 2019 (Standard or Enterprise)
Browsers (for web automation)
- Google Chrome – 88 or above ((Official Build) (64-bit))
- Mozilla Firefox - 83 or above (64-bit)
- Microsoft Edge - 88 or above (64-bit)
note
- The IntelliBuddies® Browser Extension must be deployed on the machine performing web automation activities.
- The Browser Extension is available as a separate package in the web installer and can be installed on any system.
- For the Offline or MSI Installer, the IntelliBuddies® Browser Extension is included in the Client Tools installer.
- Please note that all instances of the Browser must be closed while installing the Browser Extension. Ensure that you save any pending work before installation.
Software Frameworks
- .Net Framework – 4.8 or above (.NET Framework 4.8.04084 / .NET Framework 4.7.03190 / .NET Framework 4.7.03062 ). Download
- Microsoft VC++ Redistributables (both x64 and x86) - Version 2017 and above. Download
Python
You should install Python on the system to utilize some of the Machine Learning activities. You can follow the Python Installation instructions to download, install, and configure Python on your system.
