IntelliBuddies Subscriptions and Licensing
This page describes IntelliBuddies Subscriptions, License types, and other common terminologies used to help you understand the IntelliBuddies Licensing Model.
IntelliBuddies licenses its Software using the Annual Subscription model. However, the licensing type might differ between different editions of the Software.
License Type
IntelliBuddies utilizes the following types of licenses.
Node Locked
This license type is locked to a specific Node or System on which you deploy the Software. IntelliBuddies Control Room Server, Professional Edition components, and IntelliAppZ use this license type.
Floating User
All the clients' tools in our Enterprise Edition use this type of licensing. This type of licensing associates the license with the User inside the Control Room. Hence, it provides flexibility in releasing the license from one User and allocating it to different users working on another node.
Credits
This type of licensing is used for our Integration Gateway Services SKU. It requires the corresponding service credits to be purchased and made available as part of the associated Subscription.
License Modes
IntelliBuddies supports three different license modes.
Development License
This license allows the use of the Software for development purposes. The development licenses will have a time limitation of 365 days. The IntelliAppZ Edition primarily uses this type of license.
These licenses are restricted to use only for IntelliAppZ development purposes. Do not share the development licenses with customers for trial or production usage.
Trial License
This license allows the Software to be used in trial mode. The trial licenses will have a time limit of 7 to 90 days.
Production License
These licenses are for production usage and need to be purchased. Each production license is associated with a specific Customer and is not transferrable.
