Getting Started
Before You Start
You need an IntelliBuddies subscription with IB-X Currency purchased and associated with it, a supported activity, and network access to the cloud service from the execution environment.
Select the service that matches your task. Review its activity documentation for supported input formats, required properties, and outputs.
Configure Gateway Access
For Local Agent activities that use a provider context, configure the context before adding the service activity inside it.

The Azure, OpenAI, and Llama context activities document Gateway access across Enterprise, Professional, and IntelliAppZ editions. Their configuration dialogs differ by edition; follow the instructions for your edition.
Gateway access does not require your own provider API key or endpoint. For Server Agent workflows, follow the corresponding activity configuration; see the connection documentation for provider access options.
Run a First Request
- Configure one supported activity with a small, representative input.
- For chat activities, select a model available through the gateway.
- Run the automation and inspect the activity's output or error details.
- For Enterprise subscriptions, ask an authorized administrator to review the Integration Gateway Credit Summary.
For example, configure OpenAI Context with Integration Gateway, choose an available default model, and place a Chat activity inside the context. Provide a message and inspect the returned response.
