Process Notifications

Overview

Process Notifications are email notifications generated as part of process execution. They keep users and stakeholders informed about important lifecycle events related to processes and tasks.

These notifications are typically configured by process designers and are triggered by events such as:

  • Process initiation or completion
  • Task creation, reassignment, or completion
  • Approvals and user actions
  • Overdue tasks or reminders
  • Process or task failures

Process Notifications provide visibility into process execution, enabling timely action, improved accountability, and effective monitoring of automated workflows.


Managing Notifications

The AI Command Center maintains a notification queue to manage all outgoing process-related email notifications.

You can view and manage these notifications by navigating to   Inbox → Notifications from the side panel.


Viewing Notifications

To view process notifications:

  • Log in to the AI Command Center.
  • Navigate to Inbox → Notifications.
  • Notifications are displayed in chronological order (from oldest to most recent).
  • Click the To Address column of a notification to open the notification dialog and view its details.

Notification Dialog

The Notification Dialog displays detailed information for a selected notification.

To open the dialog:

  • Log in to the AI Command Center.
  • Navigate to Inbox → Notifications.
  • Click the To Address column of the required notification.

The dialog displays:

  • The complete email body
  • Email headers
  • A list of attachments, if available

To download an attachment, click the attachment name.


Notification Statuses

Each notification displays a delivery status.

StatusDescription
SuccessThe notification was successfully delivered to the recipient.
FailedDelivery failed. The system automatically retries based on the configured retry interval.
Retry Limit ExceededThe notification could not be delivered after reaching the maximum number of retries.

Resending Failed Notifications

To manually resend a failed notification:

  • Log in to the AI Command Center.
  • Navigate to Inbox → Notifications.
  • Select the notification to resend.
  • Right-click and choose Send Now.

The selected notification is immediately queued for delivery.


Supported Views

Use the View dropdown in the top-right corner of the Notifications page to filter the notification list.

These views are available only to users with the Manage All Process Instances permission.
