Email Queue
Overview
Email communication holds immense significance in the realm of Process Automation. It is a fundamental conduit for information exchange within automated workflows and processes. Email notifications, alerts, and updates are integral to any automation platform, ensuring stakeholders are promptly informed about the status of tasks, approvals, and critical developments. This facilitates transparency and real-time communication, allowing teams to stay connected and informed even when tasks are automated.
Manage Emails
IntelliBuddies Control Room holds the email queue to handle all the outgoing emails from the Control Room. You can navigate to Administration > Emails from the side panel to view all the emails sent or in the process of being sent by the Control Room.
Retry Interval and Limit
Emails are queued inside the Control Room. If an email fails to be sent, Control Room will retry to send the email every 10 minutes. The maximum retries are based on the Maximum Retry Count on failure setting under SMTP Settings inside the Control Room.
Viewing Emails
- Login to the Control Room
- Click on Administration > Emails to navigate to Emails page
- You can view all the emails sent by the Control Room in order of oldest to recent
- By clicking on the To Address column of any email, it will bring up the email dialog showing the actual email body and the headers
Understanding Email Status
Status | Description |
---|---|
Success | Successfully sent email to the recipient. |
Failed | Failed to send email to the recipient. Control Room will retry sending this email after the retry interval. |
Retry Limit Exceeded | Exceeded the retry limit and still unable to send email to the recipient. |
Resending Failed Emails
- Login to the Control Room
- Click on Administration > Emails to navigate to Emails page
- Select the email to be resent
- Right-click and click on Send Now
